Advance ArcGIS Tele-ClassesWe have created twelve advanced GIS classes. These are "tele-classes" where each student receives a phone number to call in to the class and in the comfort of your own office you work through the exercises with an instructor. These are weekly classes that will be up to one hour long. You will receive the weekly exercise one week prior to class. You can either work on it ahead of time if you wish, or wait until class to work on it with the instructor. At the end of each class will be a question and answer session. Classes are no larger than ten participants. How it Works Step 1: Register for as many classes as you want by clicking here. You will receive an email confirmation that you are registered. Step 2: Prior to the workshop you will receive instructions by email on how to dial by telephone in to the tele-class. Class sizes are small to allow for one-on-one training. Step 3: One week prior to the class, you will be emailed the exercise for that week. You may try it ahead of time by yourself, or you may wait for the class and follow along with the exercise then. This is an advanced course which assumes some prior knowledge of the ArcGIS platform. 2. Speaker phone and Internet connection. This is a tele-class which mean that you will be listening to the class over the telephone as well as working on the software at the same time. It is necessary to have a speaker phone that will allow your hands to be free in order to work on the software. 3. ArcGIS installed. You will need to have ArcGIS installed on your desktop prior to the workshop. You may use any version higher than 8.x. The exercises will be written in ArcGIS 9.2. Cost Each class is $99.
